Revolutionize Treatment with Real-Time Dose Visualization & Patient Position Monitoring
doseRT
DoseRT™ by Vision RT is a revolutionary technology that brings precision and safety in radiotherapy to new heights. By combining Cherenkov imaging with AlignRT Horizon cameras, DoseRT provides real-time visualization of radiation dose and patient positioning, helping to prevent errors and improve clinical outcomes.
What is Cherenkov Imaging?
During radiotherapy, Cherenkov light is emitted from the patient's skin at the entry or exit points of the radiation beam. Cherenkov imaging uses sensitive cameras synchronized with the linear accelerator and the SGRT system to visualize this light, giving clinicians the ability to see the radiation as it is being delivered—on the same screen as the patient’s position and motion.
Clinical Applications:
-
Detection of unintended dose: Cherenkov imaging can reveal radiation being delivered to non-targeted areas, such as the contralateral breast or upper limb, due to patient misalignment.
-
Identification of bolus misplacement: Real-time imaging allows immediate correction of errors in bolus placement, which could otherwise go unnoticed.
In Summary:
DoseRT™ brings a new dimension to radiotherapy, giving clinicians the tools to monitor and optimize treatment in real time. By integrating seamlessly with the existing AlignRT system, DoseRT enhances treatment precision and safety, making it an invaluable asset for any radiotherapy center.

Benefits of DoseRT™
DoseRT™ brings a new level of visibility, accuracy, and confidence to radiation therapy. Its advantages are numerous, with emphasis on the following:
🔹 Real-Time Dose Visualization
Monitor radiation delivery as it happens, identifying potential deviations or errors during treatment.
🔹 Error Detection
Clinical data indicates that approximately 10% of patients experience treatment errors that can be detected using Cherenkov imaging.
🔹 Enhanced Safety
The combined use of Cherenkov imaging and SGRT improves treatment accuracy and reduces the risk of unintended radiation, enhancing overall patient safety.
🔹 Broad Clinical Application
Clinically validated in treatments for breast, head and neck, lung cancers, as well as in stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).
