AlignRT is a system that recognizes the patient’s position in real time to ensure maximum accuracy of the initial patient placement (set-up) but also to detect possible movement during the treatment. It uses appropriate high-resolution 3D cameras to analyze the patient’s skin surface and compare it with the ideal position and millimeter subdivision accuracy. The AlignRT system has the ability to automatically stop the Linear irradiation as soon as it detects movement outside the limits and also does not require the use of tattoos or unnecessary radiation to confirm the patient’s position.
