AlignRT installation in University Hospital of Heraklio in Creta

University Hospital of Creta (PAGNI) installs AlignRT in Radiotherapy department and it will be the unique hospital in the island of Crete that could deliver DIBH and SBRT treatments. Evomed take care of the whole project and personel training on this realy innovative technology.

Evomed is awarded as distributor of the year 2022, in Dubai

EVOMED was named “Distributor of the Year” for 2022 during an impressive ceremony in Dubai, hosted by Vision RT, the inventors of surface guided radiation therapy or SGRT. This is the highest honour a distributor company may receive, which makes us extremely proud, since we came head-to-head with distinguished participants / distributors from all over Europe, the Middle East, Asia and India.
The award was accepted by the Founder and General Manager of the company, Panos Xydias.
SGRT technology, invented by Vision RT in 2001, is the most advanced addition to the field of cancer treatment and more specifically to radiotherapy. SGRT-Vision RT upgrades existing radiotherapy systems, allowing them to achieve greater accuracy during treatment of tumours that move when breathing, protect the heart during treatment of the left breast, eliminate the use of permanent tattoos and markers, and offer better-quality and safer treatment overall, comparable to that offered by the world’s leading radiotherapy centres.

One-day conference on lasers, at the University of Athens

A very successful and well-attended conference on the Laser applications in Medicine was organized by the Hellenic Association of Medical Physicists. The conference was held in the University of Athens, and our company was invited to participate and share its experience on several aspects of Lasers, such as safety, correct use and training. We are committed to supporting initiatives aimed at ensuring correct operation, training and safety of both operators and patients, when using Lasers.

Two-day continuous education Workshop by evomed, on Laser systems and new technologies in Cosmetic Medicine, Athens

The workshop organised by evomed on 19 and 20 October 2018 was a great success. The first day, was dedicated to an advanced course, attended by ellipse users from all around Greece. The keynote speaker, clinical specialist of ellipse Denmark, Mr. Mike Bloxsome, presented the latest developments in the treatments performed using the nordlys system. He also presented, for the first time in Greece, the new Lip Laser lip rejuvenation protocol.
The second day included a presentation of systems nordlys and antera 3D to prospective associates of Evomed. The keynote speaker, Mrs. Ioanna Panoutsopoluou, dermatologist, spoke about her experience using nordlys for the past 2 years. A two-level treatment for rosacea and face rejuvenation in the same session, using PR530 and FRAX 1550, was also demonstrated.

On Saturday, 03 February 2018, from 09:15-9:35 am, in IMCAS (room 7), Dr. Pablo Naranjo will make a live presentation of the unique, two-level, Facial Collagen Regeneration, combined treatment, using nordlys by ellipse together with the non-ablative fractional laser 1550.
Visit ellipse at booth #5, for a chance to talk with Dr Pablo Naranjo. He will be there on Friday, 2 February, from 4-6 pm, and on Saturday, 3 February, from 10 am to 1 pm.

Great success for the annual ellipse congress, held in Geneva, Switzerland, within the framework of the EADV, European Dermatology Congress. To celebrate the 20 years from its foundation, ellipse organised a special event where its new model, Ydun, was presented. Our company was there and, once again, made a great impression thanks to its dynamic presence.
