Developed at the Physics Department of Trinity College Dublin, Antera 3D® is a unique product in many ways.
Versatile and rich in features. The only camera that can accurately measure wrinkles, texture, scars, skin color, redness and pigmentation. It provides a full overview of the skin at a touch of a button, allowing you to visualise and quantify a wealth of skin parameters.
Fast and portable. Image acquisition takes less than a second. Full analysis and report generation is done in less than 90 seconds. Unlike most competing products, Antera 3D® is easy to carry around and to use on any body part.
Measurements are highly accurate, with a ± 5% error – best available. Software assisted image comparisons show before-and-after treatments efficacy and enable progress tracking.
The Antera 3D CS allows you to measure a wealth of parameters, as detailed in the Antera 3D CS Features table shown below and to export all measured attributes in a convenient tabular form. In addition, it is possible to export raw data of z- elevation, L*a*b*, melanin and haemoglobin values in text format.
Another unique feature of the Antera 3D CS is the measurement of Hyper/Hypo concentration. Thanks to sophisticated algorithms, the Antera 3D CS can determine the levels of melanin and haemoglobin that are either below or above the normal concentration. These features are particularly useful for skin irritation and inflammation studies, and for conditions such as melasma, vitiligo and port wine stains.

The Antera 3D offers high standards of measurement accuracy and repeatability, as well as a high specificity in resolving melanin from haemoglobin.
The Antera 3D CS offers you three products in one. 1. Skin profilometer. For measurements of skin roughness, wrinkles and volumes.
2. Multi-spectral analyser. For measurements of melanin and haemoglobin. 3. Colorimeter. For measurements of colours in the L*a*b* colour space.
